THE PRAWN OF THE EBRO RIVER
The prawn was the main course in the menu that day. Mr. and Ms. Smith were having dinner in a nice restaurant. They were on their holidays so they took advantage of the situation to enjoy the place and to talk about everything under the sun.
It took place near the bank of the Ebro River, they looked at the surrounding area and they realized that it was fascinating; a green forest bordering an enormous horizon, where some ships were sailing at dusk. Even some people were fishing, and two or three children were swimming. All of this was inconceivable only a few years ago.
He thought “Zaragoza has changed. Ten or fifteen years ago few people could order prawn for dinner. It was too expensive, and nowadays most people over here can afford it; a signal of development. The city has grown up thanks to the work of its citizens. The city is the Ebro River and the people living and working here.”
Mr. Smith was writer and he thought that a good way to pay tribute to Zaragoza and its people could be write a book entitled “The Prawn of the Ebro River”.
